St. Johns Got Some Keepers

By Tony Le, January 30, 2019

Everything works out in the end! James and Kaitlin were a referral through Living Room. It started out a little rocky – Jake couldn’t come to their buyer meeting, and Kaitlin couldn’t as well. So it turned into a one-on-one with James and I. The meeting went well! They were just starting with their home search, and had an open approach to it. James was very transparent and let me know that they were interviewing other agents as well.

About a week had passed since the meeting when I sent a follow up email and James let me know they were going forward with another agent. Super bummer. They started with their home search and I kept on my grind. About a month later, I received an email from James asking for another meeting. We quickly scheduled it and this time Kaitlin and Jake were able to attend!

The meeting went well and we focused on why their experience with the other broker did not go well. They were looking for more hands-on guidance. We kept much of the team they had worked with before, including their lender and inspector. Jake and I integrated in nicely and started on a fresh home search.

The search eventually brought us to St. John’s by Cathedral Park. It was an area James and Kaitlin weren’t too familiar with, but I encouraged them to explore it. They fell more and more in love with the area, and yesterday we just closed on a home 5 blocks from the park! A huge congratulations to them for landing a beautifully remodeled home! Everything works out in the end. If it’s not working out, it’s not the end!
