I have been working with Diana and Scott for over 4 years. First, when I helped them with the commercial lease for Diana’s clothing shop, Stand-Up Comedy, and since then to keep on the lookout for a family home. I have witnessed their numbers grow from 2 to 3 with the addition of their sweet daughter Nana. This family trio is a powerhouse of creativity and design. Yes, even Nana (she has an eye for a well designed garden). Finding the perfect place to call home has been quite a challenge. It needed to fit their creative needs both inside and outside the home, while maintaining easy access to downtown where the store is located.
We found everything they wanted and more in Sunlight Community – a 1970’s architect and educators concept community fo 15 houses nestled in 7 acres. We discovered it last summer and immediately fell in love with this artistic and well planned haven.
Since last summer, we felt a little heartbroken, worried that the perfect unit would not become available for this family. MIRACULOUSLY all this changed last month when the original architect’s home in Sunlight was listed for sale. When it came down to it, there was stiff competition but a beautifully written letter to the sellers from my buyers, made it quite evident that Scott, Diana & Nana were a great fit for this idyllic compound.
My buyers are looking forward to monthly neighbor potlucks in the community house and Nana is especially looking forward to refining her aesthetic of the outdoors while planting veggies in the garden and playing in the treehouse.
