It’s All About Who You Know

By Tony Le, June 18, 2018

Benton and I went to High School together, back at good ol Woody High on the West Side. He was always a lot smarter than me and we took Chemistry together. There were more than a few times I peeked over at his tests and answers to get by. Now was my chance to pay him back!

He shot me a text just a little over a month ago, letting me know that he was looking to buy. He had a bit of a tight time frame, with his lease up mid July, so realistically we had a month to get him into contract. I immediately hooked him up with one of our lenders, and both of us got right to work. Benton was amazing staying on top of everything he needed to do.

As we started looking at homes, I realized that location was the biggest thing that he was looking for. Being close in was important. We (Benton, his girlfriend Juliana and myself) only toured a handful of homes before we entered a sweet house just outside of West Moreland. It was across Mclaughlin, but still really close.

When I pulled up the information on the home, I saw it was listed by another Living Room agent, and I got giddy. In my almost two years here, I had yet to work with another LRR agent on the other side. After we did the walk through, Benton and Juliana unanimously nodded their heads and agreed that this was the house.

Not just saying this to fluff up Living Room, but it was the easiest transaction I’ve ever done. Communication with my client and the listing agent was clear, always positive, and stayed realistic. Everyone’s expectations and mindframes were perfectly dialed before and during the transaction. We even closed early!

Congratulations Benton!
