“I Just Don’t Want To Waste Your Time”

By Erin Primrose, January 3, 2019

Congratulations to Leah, Jason and their two adorable nuggets who just closed on their very own piece of Portland! I know this amazing family through various outings in our neighborhood and am so excited to have had the chance to help them stay close to home. It was during our second tour of about three homes that Leah mentioned that she felt “really bad” as they were in no hurry and it would likely take a year or longer to find something. Good agents are no strangers to getting to know people over an extended amount of time while they fully explore one of the biggest investments and decisions in life, and am hopeful that her “I don’t want to waste your time” fear was put at ease.  My ultimate goal is to never get to the point where I view my clients as synonymous with a paycheck, but getting to show up to work every day and help people have an authentic experience in their next move without added pressure.

I think it must have been the next tour that we, of course find a gem one block outside of Multnomah County (lower taxes) in what I refer to as the “Portland Pocket”. The home boasted the dynamite layout they thought was beyond their budget and a huge backyard where I can already picture the kiddos enjoying their childhood. They of course bought it! I will admit that I would have enjoyed just a few more outings with this great family, but it felt so good getting to hand them keys to their very own home, and I am comforted that our paths will continue to cross as they are still nearby. Wishing this family all of the happiness in the world and beyond!

I would love to be part of your next move…
