Jill began her practice in 2007 after two decades in the restaurant industry, where she found that service was in her blood. Through mentoring relationships in management, she found that real estate was the natural next step in her career. While she enjoys guiding first time home buyers, she has had the privilege of working with a diverse group of buyers an sellers from all over the Portland metro area. Focusing on the individual needs and priorities of her clients allows her to tailor a real estate strategy with the highest possible outcome of success. While she is not in the office or in the field with clients, you can find her skiing, kayaking, wine tasting or venturing out to try new restaurants and pubs. She also co-founded a professional women's network group called S.E.L.E.C.T (Sharing, Empowering, Leadership, Execution & Collaborative Teamwork). They meet monthly to support women in businesses as well as finding different avenues to give back to their communities. For the last three years, Jill has been involved with Y.E.B.W. (Young Entrepreneur Business Week), volunteering as a camp advisor at Oregon State. This program challenges a diverse group of high school students from all over Oregon to create "companies" and helps them to navigate difficult goals and deadlines to foster entrepreneurial success. Jill hopes to soon be able to sponsor lower-income students to attend in order to further diversify the pool of young professionals. Jill currently resides in Hillsboro with her husband Jim of 12 years who is her biggest fan and supporter of my business. He also has two girls with his late wife, Morgan, 23 and Jordan 25 who are absolutely wonderful. She has loved cultivating a relationship with them and feels truly blessed to be part of their lives.
