They just moved to Portland from the Hawaii within the past couple of years to retire. Aloha! They both were dedicated educators and enjoy being out in nature. They also love, love, love going to the Oregon beaches. I was lucky enough to meet them at an open house and we just instantly had a connection. These two adore Portland and look forward to many happy years together in their Hillsboro home. Their home is near lots of amenities, restaurants, breweries, and New Seasons! It is also a one level home which is perfect for retirement. The Hillsboro market is very competitive right now! We had to write several offers on homes before we finally won on this home on NE Harrow. Congratulations Shira and Thom!

Tracey Henkels attributes her disciplined nature and relentless work ethic and to a childhood spent rising and retiring by the light of the sun, on her family’s apple orchard in Iowa. While Tracey wouldn’t trade her career as a Real Estate broker for any other, her first love was actually Architecture, a craft she studied at Iowa State University during her undergraduate years. After receiving her degree, Tracey worked as an Architect for over 6 years before deciding she wanted to forge a new professional path. In 2004, Tracey jumped heart-first into the world of buying and selling houses, and is proud to say, she’s never looked back.
When you meet Tracey, one of the first things you notice is her positive energy, and zest for life. One of her favorite things about being a broker is the ability to help people make powerful transitions in their lives.
