After many years living in Iowa and raising their family, my clients decided to make the venture back home to Oregon. Knowing these clients for many years ( childhood actually ) and growing up in the same area of Lake Oswego, we had very similar ideas for the perfect home. Weekends were spent touring as many homes as possible due to my client constant traveling for work!
Touring many homes in the previous weeks, we ended up stumbling across a fabulous listing in Tualatin on Kickapoo Ct! This 1980’s home boasted a very unique, but playful layout, including an atrium in the middle, master on the main, two covered decks, updated windows, roof, and kitchen. This home had a lot to offer, plus being located on a quite cul-de-sac! The yard was impeccable, true pride of ownership, and the best part was the sellers just did a 25k price adjustment!
My clients not being shy asked me to prepare an offer for the seller on this wonderful property. Which I then went ahead and made contact with the listing agent to ask any questions regarding what the seller would like to see in an offer. Turns out, the seller was a bit nervous from previous buyers financing falling through within the first week on market, so we were asked to go meet the seller in person before presenting the offer. No problem! We drove over to the sandwich shop the seller and her daughter were enjoying their lunch at and introduced the family! It was a great introduction!
Long story short, my clients made the offer, we got it accepted, and the sellers were very pleased to be selling the home to my clients. Even more excited were my clients to be in contract on this wonderful home in Tualatin! I am so happy to be a part of this process!
Cheers to my fantastic clients and thank you again for giving me the opportunity to help! 🙂
