Planning the trip to Portland since December, my clients and I began house hunting in the middle of winter. Flying in for only short periods of time, we saw quite a few different neighborhoods, ultimately trying to game plan for Spring . My clients had decided it was time to sell their cute Chicago Bungalow and move closer to family. Once Spring had come and their home was listed in Chicago, they made the trip back to Portland. We saw about everything the market had to offer between the $350,000-$475,000. Venturing to several different cities including, West Linn, Lake Oswego, Tualatin, Tigard, Beaverton, and King City. One of the first homes we toured was a darling ranch home on SW Martinazzi in Tualatin. Little did we know, this home ended up being the one for them.
After touring many, many homes, the idea of the one level living, with a large backyard, while being nestled in the very nice Martinazzi Neighborhood began to sink in. With most of my clients family being located in Lake Oswego, the location was more than sensible. We wrote an offer on the property and with only a few days on market, we landed an accepted offer! The best part of this story is that we managed to get through all their inspections while they were still in town on their short five day trip! Very rare, ask your Realtor 😉
It was a pleasure helping them through the process and planning their long distance move. While stressful at times, just remember to breathe and solve one problem at a time. They will love this beautiful ranch home for years to come and enjoy all the amenities that Tualatin has to offer.
Congratulations to Anne and Mary Jane on moving closer to Family! 🙂
